During milling and drilling operations, drill collars provide extra weight and rigidity right at the bit. This can help provide bit weight where there is not enough tubing weight, but also reduces tubing buckling which provides a more stable and consistant drilling action. Collars can also provide the weight on the BHA when trying to jar a stuck BHA or fish.

We carry zipped drill collars, allowing for quicker trip times and no need for additional handling equipment.

Our 4-1/4" Collars are threaded with 3-1/2" REG connections, meaning service rig tongs can make/break the connections with their power tongs.
